Walking down the familiar streets of Lavender, seeing the numerous 133s driving past me these recent days has brought many memorable memories thru my mind as i walked to the bus stop opposite ICA.. The only difference, I had a hand holding on strongly to mine when i used to walk down these streets..however, i am walking alone now.
Sometimes, it gets quite scary when u get those stares frm men even in bright daylight as i walked down the road. But the feeling was so different then, because i knew that i had a protective figure to hold on to for dear life.
And today, as i went for PC's 21st birthday at his house. The familiar Boon Keng MRT came into sight. The early McDonald's breakfast at 7am before you leave for S'pore and the short ride back to your place to pick up ur luggage before the usual cab rides to Golden Mile were oh-s0-familiar. Also, I remembered how we used to call for cabs on the phones with me always seemingly able to get thru, while ur call always remain busy or engaged. The walks frm the bus-stop to ur place etc..juz started coming back to me today as my dad drove past these familiar sights and landmarks. The bus-stop that we'll usually wait at for 133 to go Bugis or the 31 that would bring me closer to home and the very pillar that i used to lean against u at the bus-stop, regardless whether we were in our NY uniforms that somehow camouflaged with the pillar, or in our casual clothes when we were out on our usual dates all juz flowed back one after another..
Right now, all that remains are the same usual sights and landmarks..but the company has changed. Because, right now what stands is a single, lone figure..and not the two-become-one silhoutte..
A sidenote: I was juz telling Jason that i'll have different mindsets and emotions should different ppl ever cook for me..
If it was
Mr. Number 1: i would be touched..but again,he's one who cooks..so i'll appreciate it..
Mr. Number 2: i would be estatic! In fact, my heart would melt and swoon head over heels even if its juz 1 cup of hot milo..Reason (s): He dun cook; he dun even make his own hot drinks then..
I remembered one incident how i managed to get *you to make a cup of hot milo for me when i came over early in the morning..becoz i din want ur maid to do it..*smiles* Though the taste wasn't fantastic..the feeling overcomes it all..
And if were the others..i might juz get irritated..for reasons i dunno why..haha..somehow..FEELING..is a rather uncontrollable thing..juz like change..*shrug*

Will I forsake my pride for love?
Yes, I would so long as you're worthy of it.
When I do, you would know that your worth weighs as much or even more than my pride.
So handle my lost pride with tender loving care and show me that you are worthy of it.
I can lose my pride once, twice or more.
But with each subsequent loss, a little more is required to take that pride out of me again.
It does not matter if a different person is involved, once I've lost my pride, a higher threshold is needed the next time round.
