Started work at a brand new desk..promoted to cubicle eh..everything was alrite..juz that i fear picking up the phone and attending to enquiries..Purposely cancelled my 1st driving lesson so that i can quickly adapt to my new responsibilities..But things went on pretty smoothly..i guess..
Bought 2 new tops after lunch..had a few mins to spare..so my HR colleague and i went to walk walk ard Jurong East..
She can really bargain la..help me save quite a few dollars!hehe..
Tues 27 June
Started my 1st driving lesson!!!!!!Woohoo~
Honda City!Though my test car would be a Honda Civic(VTi)..1st lesson dun matter..so it's alrite..Played ard with the clutch..almost thot my instructor gonna make me go front and reverse for the whole lesson la..coz that was wat happened to one of my colleagues..But nope..i end up spending 1 whole hr driving round and round and round the circuit..
Wed 28 June
Action-packed day la..My temp colleage from PR and Marketing jio-ed me and 2 other temp staff (from my previous dept) to watch the test screening of Superman Returns!!!!!!!at the Omni-Theatre la..Wahahahaha..
Free wor!!!And it was THE BEST seats in the house la!!And there were only 8 of us?
But i did rushed from office to Suntec to meet my JC clique for dinner..(bout 1 hr) at Country Manna..before rushing back to Science Centre at 9pm..for the test screening..
On my way back..i tried to glance and catch the last train timing..Saw one that states 12.17am..Assuming it was mine..i wasn't that worried bout midnite charges and taking cab home...
But seriously..Superman Returns had a draggy start..the credits damn long la!Not much action too..Overall..me and the 3 other guys..concluded that it was sucky..wasn't up to standard..as compared to Spiderman 2!
Oh well..it din bother me much..coz I'm not a fan..and watch or dun watch not much diff la..but since it's free..and exclusive..ahhaha..might as well rite?(working in Science Centre sure have its perks...free food..free fruits..free movies..and great ppl!!!!!now that is a comfort to why i'm so lowly and underpaid la...)
One of the temp staff sent us to the MRT station..he stayed at the road juz in case we missed our last train..So we happily walk..and i tried desperately to find the train that reads "Pasir Ris" and the number of minutes to arrival...but failed!!!End up..he had to send me home.
Thankfully..only me..coz all 4 of us stay in totally different areas la..one at Boon Lay..one at Woodlands..one at Fort Rd(me la!)..and the driver at Redhill..Imagine sending us home?!(*faint)

Took half day in the morn..coz i had driving..Woohoo~ I went out onto the roads!!!Thankfully i applied for my PDL on tues..Driving on the road's FUN!!So exciting..2nd lesson nia!!!But it did really build up my confidence and raised my judgement level and alertness la...
Friday 30 June
Spent the entire lesson out on the roads..Today's route was longer and had heavier traffic..did zebra crossings, bends, changing lanes etc etc..
Thankfully..Bukit Batok's roads are much user-friendly than Ubi la..The traffic also much lighter and the ppl..i guess..are more patient unlike Ubi's...My colleague complained that the cars din wanna let her pass to the left lane la..and it was ultra difficult to turn out of the centre becoz the traffic flow was forever heavy..*shrug*
Saturday 1st July
Went to work in the morning..coz there was a Teachers' workshop..to teach them the software required for the robotics competition..Supposed to stay till 1pm..but the lunch hr was delayed till 12.40pm..and so i had to wait till then to distribute the LEGO stuff to the teachers..and waited till 1.45pm..When i was supposed to meet kor at Bugis!!!!!!!!!So wanted to teleport myself la..but then again..i'll still be late!!!
Anywae..i only left at 2pm..my supervisor also not ard for me to update him..*Bleh*
