Long day today..haven been sleeping well for the past few days..have been studying non stop with minimal breaks in between..sigh!And of coz..i juz finished my Microbiology paper tis afternoon..it's the FASTEST paper that i ever studied for..effectively..maybe 20hours?about there lah..And of coz..with tis given amount of time..i din finish studying all of my lecture notes..EXPECTED!!
Oh well!It's over and done with...now left with my last core..sigh..i really dun wish tis will be my 4th paper in the row...of which i'm entering with unfinished notes!!It's scary..tis whole chain reaction...it's a VICIOUS CYCLE!!*puke*

Anywae..as i was saying the topic for today is or is it are??Hmm..watever!anywae..toking bout informative talks..had 2 of such chats today..one with the cab driver who drove me to school for my exam..and the other..my personal chauffeur who drove me home after my exam..hehe..my dad lah!So yah..here goes the contents of the chat with the cab driver..

Cabby told me that he hasn't been toking to his daughter for 1 year..apparently tis is his one and only daughter..The reason why they haven been communicating..Simple:it's the clash of the civilisations..

Cabby's daughter bought an ultra short skirt(or so he say)..very short..very low..Daughter say that it's fashion..But cabby thinks otherwise..and thruout the conversation..my inference from his mentality is that...
Girls who wear short skirts = Prostitutes..why?Coz short skirts=very easily exposed=tempting guys into sex..so girls who are seen wearing them shld DARE to 'open her kopitiam'..aka those ladies we see at Red-light district..(i was like -.-"")But anywae..yah..so he forbade his daughter from wearing it..Then he continued toking bout how some of his female passengers who wear short skirts(lucky today i wear jeans!!I can't imagine wat he would be thinking if i wore my denim skirts!!)and i also wonder wat is his definition of short skirt..hmm...
But anywae..he say that GUYS..would be tempted by such subtle temptations and actions into thinking bout "SEX"..kindda felt abit insulted bout him saying that girls wearing short short skirts are like pros..and i've got a feeling that he feels girls shld be all wrapped up..or at least be seen donning jeans..or long long lllooooooooonnnnnnngggggggg skirts..CRAP!
oh well..That only contributed to bout 60% of his anger..The remaining 40%..i think its even more CRAP!!!

Why??I'm saying tis with NO OFFENCE to the various race and religion..Er..think i better juz touch on it..and not rattle too much..i scared i get sued and jailed!!worse still..i might get someone into trouble becoz of my rambling..so here goes..
Cabby is alrite with daughter going out with those 吊儿郎当 guys,Ang-mohs,indians all no problem..and of coz chinese also no problem..so can we all guess wat's left??
So yah..he mention bout if she marry the guy..she'll have to convert(NOW u shld noe..)..change her name bla bla bla..and how if she divorces..and if they have children..things are gonna get messy..and generalisations bout guys being generally flirtatious..etc..and how the law protects the guys and not the girls..
okie..i shall stop with regards to this issue..

And we went on to tok bout girls getting involved with ONS..getting involved with married men..destroying families..snatching ppl's husbands or boyfriends..how even getting involved with a divorced man( with official documentations) is also not right especially when he's got to pay alimony to his wife and children(if any)..
His perception:If a girl gets involved with a man with such committments..she'll be depriving the child as well as the wife of a proper financial support..then the child cannot get a proper education bla bla bla..prob due to lack of $$...And if they are going to break up families..then they might as well stay single..
Now,i have a query..why girls are always the 3rd party??Why are they always the ones breaking up families?Aren't the guys also at fault coz they succumb to temptations??why the girls bearing the bulk of the whole blame?!!
Or aren't there also instances where guys break up families??prob not as common..but i'm certain there are!!Now tis is unfair!!
I agree it ain't rite to break up families..but still..the girls are not entirely to blame!!Especially if they weren't the ones who initiated the relationship..or when they tried to avoid...but the guys somehow can't resist..

Also..he went on to tok bout last time..relationships were much simpler..coz there weren't such things as ONS..or rather if there were any..they were taboo..but not so now..So in the past..if any guy sees a girl he fancies..the best way to keep that girl and to 'label' her as HIS property..he shld 'put a stamp'(quoting Cabby)..now..u noe wat does 'put a stamp' means??Then after putting a stamp..they can officially ask for marriage else the girl can sue him..for wat??
RAPE lah...
And of coz..that's why he feels that God made guys go after girls and not the other way round..coz..girls can resist temptations..guys simply can't..

Now which guy in his sane mind would be able to resist a HOT,SEXY,VOLUPTIOUS lady placed in front of him..offering him sex??I think not many..maybe none?!I dunno...tell me..

But nowadays..putting a stamp dun mean anything at all...(clash of civilisations again, i presume...but tis time..AMERICANISATION vs CHINANISATION(aka traditional values)

And from there we moved on to girls..(yeah i noe..why girls again..beats me..) Tis time..bout girls using parents' CPF to pay for their education..primarily Uni education..He feels that most girls (i beg to differ!) will get married pretty soon after graduation once they find their darling..Coz girls..are more mature..they are more 'far-minded'..and they'll feel the pressure of not getting married especially when those ard are all married with kids..So they'll stop work and there goes the parents' CPF..
(aren't the children supposed to return the full amount regardless of whether they're working or not??NO?YES?maybe someone can enlighten me..coz i'm using my mum's CPF)
So he feels that his daughter shld go borrow from banks..coz then..she'll need to think twice before making any decision..afterall she'll need to return ALL the $$ back to the bank first..and also becoz his CPF is only bout ten thousand odd..not enough to support his daughter thru..

Now..isn't the current trend that girls are getting married later and later..more girls being more career-minded..wanting to establish careers b4 settling down..or some..not even wanting to get married..of coz..there are those who have the best of both worlds..juggling family and career..So where comes those girls who dun pay their parents back??And btw..i've always had the mentality(*pardon me if i'm wrong or generalising)..girls tend to be more filial..and nowadays with guys being more SNAG..they tend to be closer to the girl's family..such that it's like marrying the guy off..and the girl's mum having an extra son...while the son's mum loses one??but anywae..it's seldom heard of that girls would give nonsensical excuses like their $$ is used to pay off housing loans, children's necessities, electrical bills bla bla bla..so they got no $$ or no extra $$ to give their parents extra pocket $$ etc..(wat crap!!!!)

Damn!Now i lose track..too busy debating with wat he said..coz i din argue much with him juz now in the cab..was frantically trying to get some additional last minute info into my tiny puny brain..

As always..die..i can't remember..i think by the time he could move on to another topic..i reached NTU le..wahaahahhaah..And now..it dawned on me..WHERE IS HIS WIFE?!?!?!?!?!?wahahhaha..oh well..

Sigh..i got no mood to type bout my chat with my dad..but i shall TRY!!
